Homeopathy has advanced since the late 18th and early 19th centuries.  Samuel Hahnemann’s world and the physical reality of his patients is very different from those of today’s. As practitioners we are now called upon to deal with conditions which were not part of life in previous times. Most of us have been part of the medical system and experienced various medicines and practices.

Most of us have had many antibiotics and vaccinations by the time we reach adolescence. This is the tip of the physical picture of our bodies today further influenced by hormones in the food we eat, the water we drink and for many of us through our mothers some of which have had the contraceptive pill. Pollution, diet etc. all play a part in creating the physical conditions Homeopaths work with.

Cancer, Diabetes, infertility, asthma, eczema, allergies, obesity, dyslexia, autism have become common conditions. As Homeopaths we need to address the causes of these conditions in the individual, the layers of toxicity and stress the body has often gone through.

Supporting the Liver and Kidneys and other organs with herbs prescribing homeopathic remedies on a practical level are the foundation of my practice. Alongside homeopathy or as an alternative I use NAET® for allergies which may cause blockages to the effective use of remedies. The focus of treatment is chosen by the patient. Although stress is often the pre-cursor to disease some conditions can be resolved by treating purely on a physical level.

Alongside the physical challenges we experience are the effects of our lifestyles. Survival for most in the West is no longer about basic food and finance it is about surviving stress. These issues will be considered in treatment.

Many hundreds of new remedies have been created and proved in the last few decades. These include Berlin Wall, Stonehenge,  Barn Owl, Oak, Amethyst, Ayahuasca etc.

These remedies have a resonance on an esoteric as well as physical level. Although all remedies have this element to some degree, the new remedies are focused on the non-physical. They are associated with emotional/spiritual/esoteric issues.

I use old and new remedies in my practice as needed by the patient. I am patient led in terms of how the treatment progresses. My training covered both Classical and Practical Homeopathy.

The initial session takes between one and two hours during which time a full case history will be taken. Usually follow up appointments are every four to six weeks.

The cost of treatment is £75 for the Initial session and £65 per follow up session and remedies are included.
